On October 1, 2020 the Veterans Accession House (VAH) was awarded a grant from the Department of Veterans Affairs’ Grant Per Diem program. The grant award is for a two-year period funding Service Intensive Transitional Housing (SITH) and Bridge Housing (BH). The SITH portion of the grant is to fund our existing Service Intensive program and BH is to provide housing for Veterans pending placement in permanent housing through the Veterans Affairs HUD-VASH program.

The Grant Per Diem Award will fund the hiring of critically needed personnel, e.g., a resident House Manager, two part-time Case Managers, and an Administrative Assistant with others to follow; all intended to advance of ability to provide quality services to our program residents. We are excited by this big next stage in our program development.
